David Hughes
Regional Director for North East, Yorkshire and East Midlands
David has responsibility for delivering an exciting range of regeneration and growth initiatives with an annual budget of £100m generating receipts of £80m.
He joined English Partnerships in 2004 as Area Director in the East Midlands and has led the agency's Hospital Sites Programme, the National Coalfields Programme, the agency's work in the seven Millennium Communities and its sponsorship of the 20 Urban Regeneration Companies.
Prior to joining English Partnerships David was Deputy Chief Executive for Nottingham Regeneration Ltd. He has also delivered a range of major regeneration initiatives, since the late 1980s, for Nottingham City Council, Nottingham City Challenge and New Deal for Communities.
David represents English Partnerships on the Boards of Creative Sheffield, Bradford Centre Regeneration, North Northants Development Company, Nottingham Regeneration Ltd and Blueprint LLC.
